Jim
McKenzie is a sports industry expert
With
nearly 30 years experience in the sports markets, he has held several Managing
Director and senior executive positions with sports equipment manufacturers
and distributors.
Between
1997 & 2001 he was Chief Executive of the World Governing Body for snooker.
He
has been responsible for the negotiation and implementation of many multi-million
dollar sports rights agreements with broadcasters, sponsors, players and other
commercial partners of sport.
He
is an advisor to several major national and international sports ventures.
He
is currently the principal consultant of Titan Sports Marketing, the sports
marketing and management subsidiary of Leisure Services Group Limited of which
he is chairman.
He
has a particular interest in the governance of sport and the the principles
of the Combined Code of Corporate Governance and how they should
be applied to sports governing organisations in order to deliver cultural and
commercial success
